The Asia for Animals Coalition has raised an appeal letter to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia to support their decision not to renew permits for the dolphin travelling circus operators when they reach their expiry dates. We also encourage the ministry to end the use of animals in travelling circuses following the news reported within the media that Oriental Circus Indonesia will end their use of animals in travelling circuses by the end of 2018.
We also thank the government is demonstrating that they will not tolerate animals being held under such poor living conditions and being forced to perform for public entertainment, and provide our support to them in implementing these important decisions.
