CONNECT with AfA in 2024!
The Asia for Animals Coalition invites you to AfA Connect, a quarterly series of free online events designed to help keep you connected to what’s happening in our network.
Over the course of two days, each event will feature engaging discussion and presentations about the issues affecting our member organizations and the animals we are working to protect across Asia. AfA Connect will provide animal protection workers with the chance to engage on the issues affecting their work and to find solutions, together, to the challenges that we all face.
This series of events will help organizations connect with information, ideas, solutions, and collaboration opportunities in the challenging world of animal advocacy.

AN INSIDE JOB: The importance of supporting within-country advocates is the first event of the AfA Connect series of 2024, and will be held on March 5-6th.

A view from the frontline is vital to any animal protection work. This is where much of the change happens! Understanding, supporting and collaborating with those on the ground is a clear and successful strategy to create better future animals.

Where do I register to attend?
Registration isn’t open yet. A button to register will be added to this page once registration opens.

How many sessions are there?
Each AfA Connect event will consist of eight sessions, covering a broad range of exciting topics. Each of our seven working groups will run a dedicated session in which they will bring together experts on a range of topics relevant to their work. Sessions dedicated to key overarching issues of practical interest and benefit to all AfA member organizations will also be included.
How long will each event be?
Each event will last for a total of six hours, over the course of two days. Each day will consist of three hours of concurrent sessions.
In what language will the event be presented? Will there be translations available?
AfA Connect will be presented in English. We do not currently offer translation services.
Is the event online or in person?
The event is online, and will be hosted via Zoom.
If I can’t watch the sessions live, will I be able to access them after?
Recordings of all of our events are available on YouTube. If you cannot attend a session, you will be able to watch it after the event on our YouTube channel: Asia for Animals Coalition - YouTube
Is the event free?
The event is free to attend.
Who can attend?
Anyone can attend the event. If you work for an animal advocacy organization, the event will be particularly relevant for you, as we will discuss relevant issues and common challenges - and solutions!
