AfA appeals to Thai retailer to go cage-free

Our coalition has authored a letter asking decision makers at Siam Makro of Thailand to commit a cage-free policy for their egg supply chain.


Such a policy would follow that recently set by their largest competitor, Tesco Lotus.


In our letter we outline that the animal welfare concerns of cage eggs, as well as pointing out consumer trends towards kinder alternatives, which would obviously be a good move for Makro
