Your gift today can help bring an animal in desperate need to safety and sanctuary.
When a young gibbon arrived at a sanctuary in Malaysia, she was malnourished, terrified, and sustained pellet gun wounds - the heartbreaking result of her mother being shot dead so that the baby could be sold in the illegal pet trade. The team who took her in had the compassion to help - but not the resources. They didn't know where to turn.
Sanctuaries can't do this alone
Across Asia, animals like her are in desperate need of rescue and sanctuary. Injured, hunted, abandoned - they can not survive alone. Animal sanctuaries and rescue centers are their lifeline, providing emergency care around the clock to save lives.
But these rescue centres are drastically overworked and under-resourced. Hundreds of thousands of animals rely on a small network of incredibly hardworking organizations.
Can you help make sure sanctuaries aren’t facing these crises alone? Your gift today can provide backup when they need it, to protect vulnerable animals.

Where SARCC Steps In
That's where SARCC comes in - giving rescue teams the expert support, connections, and resources they desperately need, so more animals survive and thrive.
Real rescue, real impact
Bears, primates, big cats - trapped in tiny cages on the roadsides of Pakistan. Traumatized from years of neglect and isolation, these animals were in desperate need. Local NGOs working to shut down these facilities turned to SARCC with a desperate call: help us find safe homes. We moved quickly, connecting them with expert support and guidance so animals could start moving towards a future of safety and healing.
Behind every rescued animal is a team working around the clock - often exhausted, under-resourced, and unsure where to turn. SARCC is there for them. We support their load so they can keep doing what they do best: saving animals’ lives.
With your help, we will continue to give sanctuary teams free access to expert guidance, training and practical resources - everything from behind-the-scenes capacity building to specific animal care knowledge.
This is why we need your help. Please send a donation today so you can help more rescued animals live safe, full and happy lives.
