Transforming the Future: System Change for Animals

Since 2001, AfA Conference is co-hosted every two years by AfA member organizations, and is the largest conference of animal advocacy and protection organizations.
This event creates opportunities for interaction and knowledge exchange among organizations in the Asian animal advocacy movement, offering delegates a chance to network, collaborate, and catalyze change moving forward. Through engaging panels, breakout sessions, and immersive workshops, participants explore strategies for overcoming challenges, transforming ideas into strategic priorities, and enhancing campaigns on key animal protection issues.
As a united voice, we are all better positioned to help alleviate some of Asia’s most urgent and extreme forms of animal cruelty and exploitation.

亞洲動物保護大會自 2000 年舉辦以來，為亞洲最大規模的動物保護會議。會議旨在透過世界各國動保組織與人士的行動分享及倡議交流學習 ，特別是與各利害關係人的對話，提升動保意識，促進政策與法令制定。

誠摯歡迎各位來自世界各地的嘉賓與夥伴蒞臨亞洲動物保護大會-臺北。農業部深感榮幸能共同支持這場推動動物福祉的重要國際盛會，與全球專家、學者及實踐者齊聚一堂，交流經驗、激盪思維，為動物保護開創更具前瞻的未來。
臺灣長期致力於動物保護政策的推動與制度建構，包含：加強動物保護立法；推廣飼主責任與各產業的友善飼養觀念；推動野生動物的棲地復育，加強打擊非法捕捉、販售與輸出入；落實3R原則並進行教育訓練與稽核，保障實驗動物福利；制定經濟動物飼養管理與人道屠宰準則、動物福利標章制度，鼓勵友善飼養與永續消費，及完善漁業人道捕撈與友善養殖。
我們相信，每一條生命都值得被尊重與善待。透過本次大會，我們期待深化國際合作、分享臺灣的經驗，也學習他國的創新做法，攜手提升亞洲乃至全球的動物保護水平。
