Learn to spot and stop fake dog and cat rescues on social media, protect your organization’s work, and understand the vital role vets play in prevention -
Following the Thread of Rabies Prevention (with Bali Animal Welfare Association/BAWA and Bali Pet Crusaders)
Discover Bali’s rabies journey, the proven strategies that work, and why humane dog population management is vital in preventing rabies
OUR GOALS
This workshop brings together different voices and perspectives to best address dogs and cats issues in Indonesia.
Here are our aims for the workshop:

Empower NGOs and veterinarians to recognize illegitimate dog and cat rescue scams on social media, understand the role of vets in these scams, and protect NGOs identity and data from misuse

Provide a clear understanding of the link between rabies prevention and sustainable dog population management and support humane, evidence-based approaches over ineffective methods like mass killing, removal, or relocation

Build stronger connections between grassroots organizations, veterinarians, and policymakers to work toward sustainable changes together
