Speaker & Moderator Guidelines

We are pleased to welcome you as a speaker and/or moderator at one of our events. We greatly value your willingness to share your knowledge and experience, which plays an important role in fostering meaningful dialogue and advancing animal advocacy across the region.

Presentation Guidelines

  1. Presentation(s) are to be submitted in Microsoft PowerPoint file format only.

  2. Slide size format is 16:9.

  3. Your draft PowerPoint presentation(s) should closely be the final version. Curate your draft presentation(s) to align with the purpose of your abstract submission, ensuring it effectively addresses the issue highlighted.

  4. Incorporate the branding of your organization (if any) or maintain a consistent visual theme/identity throughout.

  5. Include any animations or transitions (if any).

  6. If presenting in your language/or any other language, please ensure your slides include both your language/that language and English (US).

  7. Kindly have your speaking points or script prepared according to the content of the slide in the “Presenter Note” of your PowerPoint presentation.

Tips for an Effective Presentation Slides

  • Use no more than three (3) colors throughout the presentation to maintain visual consistency.

  • Use no more than three (3) font types, and ensure fonts are clear and easy to read.

  • Maintain consistent formatting (font size, headings, alignment) across all slides.
