AfA opposes export of macaques from Philippines for research

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources of the Philippines has allowed 7 macaque farming operations to exist so that offspring can be exported for testing and further breeding.


In the wake of the Covid pandemic, it was feared that DENR would increase the volume of exports to help in the search for the vaccine.
