Elephant riding is one of the animal tourism industry's popular activities. Tourists from around the world visit elephant riding camps and zoos to pay for the opportunity to ride on an elephant's back. But all is not as it seems to the many paying tourists who are lead to believe that this activity involves no animal abuse, it is in fact, quite the opposite.
