
A Member-Led Initiative
The AfA Policy Coalition (APC) empowers organizations by simplifying animal policy advocacy and providing essential tools, resources, and connections to drive meaningful change. By bridging local efforts with global advocacy, APC strengthens collaboration among grassroots groups, NGOs, and international partners, fostering a united voice for animals in Asia.
Formed in June 2022, APC enhances the capacity of its members to influence policies that protect animals. As part of the Asia for Animals Coalition, APC ensures that diverse perspectives are represented on global platforms, driving impactful advocacy that benefits animals, people, and the planet.

APC strengthens collective efforts and unites voices for animals in Asia through various initiatives:

Supported the Asia-Pacific Animal Law Overview (APALO) project by collaborating with World Animal Justice to centralize anti-cruelty laws across the Asia-Pacific region into a comprehensive, user-friendly database.
Bridging local and global advocacy efforts by amplifying Asian voices in international animal protection policy discussions
Regional network of the World Federation for Animals, ensuring Asia’s perspectives are prioritized globally
Community and Stray Cats and Dogs
DACC connects organizations focused on community dog and cat welfare, including issues like dog culling, population management, and disease control.
